The ultimate purpose of this course is to significantly deepen your yoga practise, skill-sets and knowledge to the next level, and to aid you in discovering your hidden competencies and potential.
Our part time teacher training course aims to provide a supportive environment for aspiring trainee teachers to learn and grow, to develop the inner teacher within you. It is also suitable for yoga practitioners who like gain deeper understanding into Yoga philosophies, anatomy, asanas as well as pranayama.
Through this training, you will also acquire a wide variety of asana technique training, as well as the essential teaching methodologies needed to build a career as a yoga instructor.
Yoga Alliance Accredited School
Trust Yoga is a registered school with Yoga Alliance. Yoga Alliance is an international governing board for yoga teachers and training programmes in the U.S and globally. Graduates of our 200-hour teacher training will be eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as a RYT 200 (Registered Yoga Teacher).
Becoming a RYT means having a higher profile and gaining international recognition as a qualified yoga teacher, attributes that many hiring studios look for.

Techniques, Training and Practice
- Kriyas, Bandhas
- Asanas knowledge
- Basic meditation techniques
- Learn and understand pranayama
Teaching Methodology
- Teaching Techniques of Hatha Yoga (Concept & Principles)
- Hands on adjustments
- Establishing the seat of the teacher
- Learn how to teach a pose systematically
- Sequencing and pacing a class
Practicum
- Teaching Practice (a pose, small groups, class based)
- Observing others teach, giving and receiving constructive feedback

Schedule
An 8-week, Part-time Teacher Training Programme designed to help those who are working and who cannot take extended leave. This programme will run over a total of 8 weeks (Friday evening – Sunday evening) except when there are public holidays. We believe that the 8-week time frame will give you the time in-between to help you digest and assimilate knowledge and information at a pace that is ideal.
