In this 10 hour course, we’ll explore ways to effectively strengthen the back and lengthen the spine, and guide you in exploring your strengths and overcoming limitations.
We’ll also work towards some advanced asana in deeper backbends and how to come into them safely, respecting our individual bodies and looking at how they can benefit us physically and emotionally. At the end of the course, students will gain more confidence in their ability to correctly and safely attempt new and advanced back bends.
Key focus:
– Deepen your knowledge on spine mechanics and
– Understanding different body types
– Body opening to deepen your backbending
– Learn techniques to perform safely and how one can take their practice to the next level.
– Learn different variations of back bends
– Unwind tension and pain held in the lower back, working towards a healthier spine
